JVC has previously announce some details of this ProHD GY-HM700compact shoulder camcorder, which is now officially launched. JVC’s new ProHD camcorder offers a performance demanding applications in mainstream production, electronic newsgathering and cinematography.
The JVC ProHD GY-HM700 features 1/3-inch Progressive scan 3CCD image sensor and a 14x zoom Canon F1.6 lens. It can record at up tp 35Mbps data rate and in 1920x1080p24/p25/p30 full HD resolution or 1280 x 720p60/p50/p30/p25/p24 resolution. The professional camcorder delivers world’s fastest shoot-to-edit workflow as it is able to record in native Final Cut Pro format.
JVC’s GY-HM700 has two SDHC card slot, each supporting up to 32GB cards, as recording media. It includes a 4.3-inch LCD display and a 1.22 Megapixel LCOS viewfinder. The full HD camcorder offers HD/SD SDI, Component, Composite and IEEE 1394 outputs.
JVC ProHD GY-HM700 compact shoulder professional camcorder will be available from March 2009 with $7,995 price tag.
